We defer commission expenses, premium taxes and certain marketing, sales, underwriting and safety costs that vary with and primarily relate to the successful acquisition of insurance policies. Gross premiums written for 2025 were $313.9 million, compared to $294.1 million for 2024, an increase of 6.7%.
