What management said

Net income was $54.1 million and $45.6 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively, and diluted net income per common share was $2.10 and $1.90 for the six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively. The increase was primarily due to the acquisition of Two Rivers Bank. Net interest margin (tax equivalent), defined as net interest income divided by average interest-earning assets, was 3.79% for the six months ended June 30, 2026, up from 3.66% for the same period in 2025. This increase was primarily due to an increase in earning asset yields and decreased funding costs. …FIRST MID BANCSHARES, INC., 10-Q, period ended 2026-06-30, filed 2026-08-07
