Despite stronger sales activity, home closings declined compared to the second quarter of 2025. Overall profitability decreased from the prior year, primarily reflecting higher lot costs and mortgage rate buydown incentives that continue to be an important part of our sale strategy. Our company-wide absorption pace of sales per community for the second quarter of 2026 was 3.4 per month compared to 3.0 for the prior year’s second quarter.
