What management said

Murphy Oil Corporation’s net income from continuing operations, including noncontrolling interest, for the three months ended June 30, 2026 was $264.0 million compared to net income of $33.8 million for the same period in 2025. The increase in 2026 was primarily driven by higher revenues from production ($243.3 million), lower lease operating expenses ($71.8 million), higher other income ($43.6 million), and lower transportation, gathering and processing expenses ($8.8 million). These favorable items were partially offset by higher income tax expense ($76.0 million), higher exploration expense ($28.9 million), and higher other operating expenses ($12.9 million). …MURPHY OIL CORP, 10-Q, period ended 2026-06-30, filed 2026-08-05
