This change was primarily due to a $160 million increase in cash used for working capital, partially offset by a $59 million increase in dividend payments received from equity method investments. The increase in cash used for working capital was attributable to increases in inventory, primarily due to the timing of sales and inventory purchases in Seaboard’s CT&M segment, and accounts receivable, related to higher sales in the Liquid Fuels and CT&M segments. The increases in inventory and accounts receivable were partially offset by the timing of accounts payable disbursements.
