What management said

Overview Our core business is acquiring and leasing commercial aircraft and aircraft engines and related aircraft equipment pursuant to operating leases, all of which we sometimes collectively refer to as “equipment.” As of June 30, 2026, the majority of our leases were operating leases, with the exception of certain sale-leaseback transactions that do not meet lease criteria and are therefore classified as notes receivable under the guidance provided by Accounting Standards Codification (“ASC”) 842, Leases, and investments in sales-type leases. Our portfolio is continually changing due to equipment acquisitions and sales. …WILLIS LEASE FINANCE CORP, 10-Q, period ended 2026-06-30, filed 2026-08-04
